Which Notary directories get high paying signings?

Which Notary directories can help you get $150 jobs? Which Notary directory will help you get a high quantity of work. Which Notary directory will get you nicer clients? Here are some answers.

123notary — email us for a quote at info@123notary.com
123notary is a directory that refines its information daily. We attract all types of Notaries, but refine our list to put the absolute cream of the crop at the top of search results by using a complicated algorithm. This is why we are popular with Title companies and attract more high paying work than all other directories combined! Experienced Notaries on 123notary average $110 per signing. Disclaimer: Not all jobs from 123notary are amazing, but the percentage of good ones is higher than other directories, which puts you in a position to filter out the undesirable companies.

We put roughly 300 new notaries online every month and then take off half of the free new listings that have bad stats. We also have to remove older listings where the Notaries have become unresponsive. This constant refinement has made us the most reliable source for accurate information of any Notary directory.

123notary offers top placed listings in your county. All you have to do is email us at info@123notary.com and ask us for a quote for a high position in your area. Notaries with a top spot on 123notary get an exponentially higher quality of work as well as more total offers.

NotaryRotary
They are famous for their forum which is the most popular in the industry. Their directory is easy to use as it shows results in order of proximity to the search zip code. NotaryRotary focuses on closeness rather than on the quality or knowledge legal of the Notary. NotaryRotary gets a little bit of high paying Title Company work, but mostly signing company work.

SnapDocs
SnapDocs is a clearinghouse for the lowest paid and most undignified Notary work out there. Notaries get cattle calls via mass texts to all Notaries in the area for low paying jobs that often only pay $50 or $60 per signing. If you are a beginner and want to get your feet wet then try them. However, Notaries with experience are dropping off this medium like flies!

NotaryCafe
This is a much smaller directory that capitalizes on quality Notaries. Jobs are often higher paying, but there are not a lot of jobs to go around. Quantity is not a specialty of NotaryCafe unfortunately, but we still recommend them to more experienced Notaries.

SigningAgent.com
NNA’s directory has a lot of Notaries. Most of the Notaries are newer while there are a few experienced ones on board. The high point of this directory is that you can see the dates when Notaries became NNA certified and/or background screened which means a lot to signing companies. However, this company has not generated that much work for signing agents for years.

When did Notary Cafe become decaffeinated?

Filed under: Signing Company Gossip — Tags: — admin @ 9:56 pm

Notary Cafe has been around for a long time. They are also renowned for quality. They have some of the best Notaries around. It is just that they have so few Notary profiles available to the public and so few people searching on their site. We recommend Notary Cafe, but don’t expect miracle results from them.

Notary Cafe used to be more popular ten or more years ago. But, they lost their buzz or as I like to say, became decaffeinated. But, decaf still has 40% of the caffeine as regular coffee, so they are still in the running so to speak. Just don’t add too much cream or sugar.

Meanwhile with the advent of SnapDocs, all of the other Notary directories lost a lot of traffic. 123notary’s mobile page reprogramming is helping us to regain market share quickly, so wish us well with that. It affects you!

A comprehensive guide to Notary organizations

Are you a Notary? Do you want to join some Notary organizations? There are many of them out there. Some help educate Notaries while others have helplines or hotlines. Some sell Notary supplies while others help Notaries advertise their services.

123notary.com
http://www.123notary.com/
123notary.com has been around since 1999 and helps Notaries advertise their Mobile Notary services online. Title, Escrow, Signing Companies, Attorneys and individuals love using 123notary to find some of the best trained and most experienced Notaries anywhere. 123notary also sells loan signing courses and has a very entertaining and informative blog. Check out their list of signing companies with reviews to see who you should and shouldn’t be working for.

National Notary Association
https://www.nationalnotary.org/
The NNA has been around since 1957 as a California Notary Association to help Notaries with educational resources and tools. In 1964 it became a National Association. NNA sells Notary supplies, errors & omissions insurance, education to help pass the Notary exam and become a signing agent, andmore… Advertise your signing agent services on signingagent.com

Notary Rotary
http://www.notaryrotary.com
Notary Rotary has been around for decades and offers a very potent way for Notaries to advertise their services. They also sell seals, and E&O insurance. Signing Agents can place an add and get found based on how close they are to the zip code being searched for.

SnapDocs
http://www.snapdocs.com/
This organization makes it easy to find newer Notaries who work for cheap as well as providing a system for downloading documents. More seasoned Notaries are complaining that SnapDocs is contributing to the lowering of fees in the industry. We recommend this organization for newer Notaries who want to get their foot in the door.

American Society of Notaries
http://www.notaries.org/
ASN offers a phoneline for technical support just in case Notaries have a question while on the job. They also sell Notary supplies and more.

American Association of Notaries
http://www.notarypublicstamps.com
Buy your stamps from the AAN!

Notary Café
https://notarycafe.com/
Notary Cafe is a smaller directory of Notaries that seems to specialize in the more serious Notaries. We do not have records to show how popular their directory has been in the last few years, but they have been popular for a long time.

Pennsylvania Association of Notaries
https://www.notary.org/
Need help becoming a Notary in Pennsylvania? Try this organization.

California Association of Notaries
http://www.calnotaries.com/
This is yet another Notary directory.

The state of Notary advertising in 2016

I write an article like this every year or two, just to keep people informed about changes in the market.

Physical and Online Yellow Pages
Few Notaries do well with these, but you are welcome to experiment. Just don’t invest too much. See how well you can do with a limited budget.

Snapdocs
Snapdocs might not be too popular with the Notaries, but many Notaries get work from them and many other Notaries lose work from competition from this outfit. Snapdocs offers cattle calls to Notaries via text. Notaries polled on Linked In ALL claimed that they preferred a phone call, primarily because they could negotiate more easily. However, you can negotiate prices by text or email as well — and experienced Notaries are using snapdocs and doing exactly this. Keep in mind that it is not easy to find an available Notary with experience at the last minute, so you can command a decent price much of the time. So fear not!

Online Directories
In addition to contacting signing companies and Title companies by phone one by one, we also recomment “inbound” advertising where customers come to you when they need you vs. vice versa. Advertising on prominent mediums is powerful. But, it won’t do you any good unless you have a well filled out profile. Most Notaries do a horrible job writing their notes section. They put a bunch of unrelated information all jumbled up into one long paragraph. That is hard and unpleasant to read. Keep your notes informative, factual and organized into multiple paragraphs.

123notary
123notary is the most effective way to advertise your Notary services online. Notaries that get ahead on our site have high placed listings (ask for a quote) and multiple current reviews, a well written notes section, and 123notary certification which is not hard to earn if you are willing to study a little and take an online test. Despite tough competition from Snapdocs and Notary Rotary, 123notary’s traffic continues to grow little by little every year partially due to the superior maintenance of information by Jeremy, great customer service and mentoring from Carmen, and the strong effort in blogging and Facebook from the 123notary team.

Notary Rotary
Notary Rotary continues to be #2 in the Notary advertising world. I noticed that they lost a lot of steam in the fourth quarter of 2015. They seem to have slowed down a bit, but are still a serious contender. Notary Rotary is popular due to the quantity of Notaries on board and also to the search by proximity which 123notary doesn’t currently have although we have a search by zip radius of fixed mile radiuses which is the next best thing.

Notary Cafe
Notary Cafe continues to be popular with Notaries although I’m hearing less about it these days with SnapDocs picking up the slack in the market. Notary Cafe has few paying Notaries, but makes up for quantity with serious Notaries!

SigningAgent.com
NNA’s Signing Agent.com used to be much stronger. They have fewer new members and fewer good ones as well. They dropped their password protected search and are now open to the public. I previously thought that being open to the public would ruin 123notary’s stats, but we have not had any change in search volume since they opened their doors. Signingagent.com has gone down hill, but are still a contender in the #4 spot of Notary directories. At this point, SnapDocs seems to be more popular than Signingagent.com, however, SnapDocs is not purely a directory as they are an app and a complicated technological resource with many functions.

Other Advertising Methods
There are other ways to advertise besides contacting signing companies and directories. Many pass our cards, network, have websites, and more. The people who get ahead, typically use solid techniques for promotion and have been in business for years. So, pay your dues, get experience and advertise with the big guys. But, most of all, follow our advice on how to advertise. When in doubt, email us and ask!

Review of Notary Cafe

Review of Notary Cafe

As the manager of 123notary.com, when notaries ask who they should advertise with besides us, we generally recommened notary rotary, signingagent.com, and notary cafe as the four most popular mobile notary and signing agent directories. Notary Cafe allows browsers to find notaries anywhere in the United States, but also lets you know how many jobs they are getting, which is a feature unique to Notary Cafe.

Search Capabilities
Searches on notarycafe.com are by zip code with an adjustable radius which is a very useful feature.  You can find notaries who are bilingual, have laser printers, are attorneys, and more! Additionally, notaries can list their personal name and company name on the search results which is also a unique feature.  You can also list your fees for various types of jobs which is very useful.  Notaries change their fee structure so often, that they better login to their listing frequently!  I hope the notaries don’t forget to add a rush hour surcharge as well!

Which notary directory is the most popular?
Notaries with high positions on 123notary.com generally say that they get more work from 123notary than from anywhere else.  But, our clients always speak highly of Notary Cafe as well as a good place to get notary work.  A handful say that their primary source of business is from notarycafe.com.  Notary Rotary is another very popular notary directory, as is signingagent.com.   We recommened getting listed on the top four mobile notary directories as well as online yellow pages if you can get a free or affordable listing on a popular yellow page provider.

How can I find out more about notary cafe?
Read the forums.  123notary has a forum, and notary rotary has a forum too. Forums are the portals to vast amounts of information about hundreds of companies in the notary world. You can find out about signing companies, notary procedures, marketing information, and notary directories as well.
