As someone alluded to, if you can use a high-speed scanner and then upload the documents to a website this process is not that painful. Companies like First American signature services and their subsidiaries, require that you use ancient technology. It takes almost an hour to fax back 60 pages, which is ridiculous .

I understand the problem is that new Notaries make mistakes. They should remove this requirement for seasoned closers. I take it as a insulting and have refused any assignments that require fax backs. I am good at what I do.

I have no problem doing fax backs. Although, it is incorporated in my fee. If they don’t mind paying my fee. I don’t mind doing fax backs.

Nations Direct is now NotaryGo. Faxing isn’t too bad if your machine doesn’t jam on page 49 of 50 pages.

High-speed scanners are very expensive. A fast fax machine is essential.

I am new and have done a couple for NotaryGo. They no longer require the fax back, they are happy with scanning and emailing.

It’s too busy to do fax backs and Scans. I am up front: I don’t t do any fax backs or scans!
If they are desperate they will ask me to photograph a few pages and email back!
I require $195 for jobs with edocs nothing less. If it is late at night-$225. I only accept Title companies, banks, mortgage lenders or lawyers. I will not ever take a signing service. I was tutored and mentored by Carmen years ago and follow her excellent wisdom and experience.
