A notary on our blog posted a comment calling SnapDocs, “SnapCrap” because the job offers were not worth taking. But, SnapDocs is not responsible for the bad offers, they just provide a super-efficient portal. Don’t hate the portal — hate the game. If the staff at SnapDocs could talk to that Notary, they would call her a “Portal-hater.” And just because you got played, doesn’t make the portal bad.
There are other Notaries on SnapDocs that always get their desired fee. I’m not sure how that is humanly, logistically, or mathematically possible, but I have heard this before. Maybe they live in an area where the buyers are hard up. So, the bottom line is, just because one medium of advertising doesn’t work for you, doesn’t make it inherently bad.

Disagree, the “portal” is designed to Cattle Call many notaries for the same assignment.
Thus, pitting them against each other to find which is the most desperate to accept a pittance for a fee.

I agree. So many companies low balling notaries. Many friends have stopped being NSA because of this. Snapcrap is exactly what it is. Lowballing is killing the industry.

Yes , I agree
My experience the past 6 months with snap-docs
They give the job to whom ever will except the lowest fee. I’ve denied a signing after Snapdocs agent telling me the set fee! She then offered 40 dollars more!

Agreed, we are pitted against each other, bc it is first response, first hired. I DO answer, but I put MY fees bc I am NOT worth $cheapo rates. Don’t worry. When the companies get desperate enough they go back to calling/texting you.

I don’t care for the portal. It takes the professionalism out of the notary/signing company relationship. Seriously, is it really too much to dial a phone.
