A Notary in Nevada made $10,000 in one month in 2019?

Filed under: Marketing Articles — admin @ 9:22 am

Yes, it is possible to make money as a Notary in 2019. Our other articles about successful Notaries were mostly from 2013 or before as business was not fast from 2014 until mid 2019. But, this Notary did 90 signings and made $10,000 in a single month. And yes, her primary advertising is on 123notary.

She is full of energy and enthusiasm. She had eighteen months experience, so she was not seasoned by any standards. Additionally, she did not drive more than 20 miles in any direction. She got roughly half of the work from 123notary too.

It is always refreshing to learn about a new notary who is doing well in 2019 as it was very slow for so long. Most of the Notaries who make the big money have years and years of experience. So, how can newer Notaries do well? Being very businesslike, answering the phone, maintaining your listing information, getting reviews, and advertising with a high spot on 123notary.

I hope to hear more stories like this.

Reviews — the minute you get listed

Filed under: Reviews — admin @ 11:04 pm

Most of our seasoned Notaries have a long scroll of reviews, and they should. Browsers judge you by your reviews. If you don’t have them, you will not be seen in a very positive light. But, people who just signed up on 123notary often wait a very long time before getting reviews.

Newer listings lack credibility. Without reviews or certifications, people will not trust you. So, with a new listing, the first thing you need to do is to get reviews from anyone. Your clients, signing companies, title companies, neighbors, your cat (if she can type), or a friend who has used you. My rule is that if they have used you, they can write a review. Send them and emailed link and ask for a review.

Remember — five reviews doubles your incoming new calls on 123notary.com and you might have to ask five dozen people and send links to get that many reviews, but it is worth it. Reviews lose their gravitation towards new clients after two or three years so keep getting new ones — they are date stamped and you don’t want to look washed out.

Additionally, study from Notary Public 101 and try to take our over the phone certification test as well. Good luck!

A Notary emails me to say Snapdocs was down

Filed under: Advertising — admin @ 8:38 am

Is this a karmic thing happening? is this the beginning of the end of Snapdocs? Does it mean their engineers are slipping? Or was it just a glitch? A moment in time when the universe was not perfect. Will SnapDocs lose its snappiness one day? Willl they lose their appeal? Or will they continue to dominate market share?

In any case, it is nice when Notaries email me to let me know what is going on in the world. My comment to the notary who emailed me this news was — the drama thickens!

Social Media Site for Notaries – JuratBook

Filed under: Social Media — admin @ 7:39 am

Welcome to JuratBook, a social media site for Notaries. Notaries typically use this to complain about slow paying signing companies, and boast about how good their 123notary listing is doing.

With JuratBook, you can post an unlimited amount of special notary emoji’s on your posts. The surprised emoji would be if you got paid on time. The sad emoji would be if there were too many fax backs. A heart emoji would be because you love Jeremy and Carmen. A thumbs up (or thumb prints up) would be if you either liked a particular signing company, or if you thumb printed someone.

You can take selfies of you and your customers and post them. You can talk about what you do when you are not notarizing.

The problem with JuratBook is that it makes people more competitive about how popular they are. It makes you think your life isn’t as full as all these other people with lots of postings who celebrate life every day.

Unlike Facebook, you can use hateful speech on JuratBook. It has to be allowed, because Notaries are so frustrated by not getting paid on time. JuratBook believes in freedom of speech.

The algorithm used for JuratBook helps promote posts more about the social aspects of being a Notary rather than dull work related posts.

What constitutes JuratBook friendship? Do you have to notarize each other? Or have each other’s thumb print? The rules keep changing as the owner Sam Zuckerberg — Mark’s lesser known and less successful brother.

JuratBook — your social media venue!

I want my 123

Filed under: Advertising — admin @ 5:56 am

MTV and pop culture
Remember back in the 80’s when people said, I want my MTV? Do they still exist? I spent a lot of time watching rock videos back in 1984. It was my introduction to popular culture because I was so out of it before that. But, what about the Notary world. If there were a slogan for our business, what would it be?

I want my 123
123notary is a great way to learn the fine art of loan signings. We have loan signing courses and they are affordable not to mention tons of free blog articles. 123notary also offers state-of-the-art advertising paralleled by no other agency. A top spot on 123notary can get you so much business, that no other site compares. You need regular new reviews, a great notes section, experience, and an attentive attitude to do well with your listing, so paying for it is not the only thing.

We mentor
Additionally, Jeremy and Carmen are there (or here depending on how you look at it) to answer questions and help people out by phone and by email. So, you will never be left behind at 123notary (unless I’m on vacation and in that case not for long.) 123notary is the best site to advertise your notary services on and learn the ropes. So, it is no wonder that people say — “I want my 123!”

How google helps notaries

Filed under: Advertising — admin @ 5:47 am

Does Google help Notaries? Yes, and in all types of ways.

Google helps to list Notary sites and Notary directories on the search results. However, your placement can really vary and in my opinion, placement doesn’t always make sense. For Notary, 123notary shows up poorly, but for state and city notary terms we show up normally in the first page or sometimes the second page. How odd.

Google also offers adwords pay per click which is another way you can get clicks, and with geo-targetting you can get local clicks which might be very valuable to you.

Google local offers a way that Notaries can get advertising and be found from local clients. Signing companies might not use that option so much but individuals seeking notarization will use Google local and some Notaries get a lot of business for general notary work.

Google can also help you find Notary information. If you want to look up technical terms, concepts, documents, signing companies, or any other Notary related information, they will help.

Gmail is the most popular email for Notaries and I use it myself.

Google maps are the best quality maps for strategizing your journey to a particular venue. You can even see what the building looks like that you are going to go to before you get there.

Google weather can help you know if it will be snowing when you get where you are going.

In short, Google is a valuable source of information for all of us and we would be hard pressed (like apple cider) if they didn’t exist.

123notary behind the scenes – almost not able to walk

Filed under: Social Media — admin @ 5:27 am

It was bad. For months, my left leg was killing me. And on my right leg there was sciatic pain. The right buttocks would hurt when I sat for long hours. The left side of my left leg would hurt so badly when I walked, that I had to take one minute breaks every five minutes or so.

Finally, I went to the acupuncturist and he said my circulation was not good in my legs and that I had a muscle spasm. So, he gave me some acupuncture. I had gone to another acupuncturist a week before who also gave me acupuncture with the biggest needles I had ever seen.

But, walking had become such a problem. I took the bus to Koreatown a few times. It is only a few miles down Wilshire. I remember walking home from Koreatown twice. I had to stop every five minutes because the tension and pain was unbearable. And taking my neighborhood walks to Whole Foods and around the park became very painful as well. The hot baths helped a little, but weren’t good enough.

On a brighter note, Koreatown was fun. I took the bus there because parking is so expensive. I tried a great Oaxacan place and had different types of mole and Oaxacan style tortillas which were excellent. I tried Bengladeshi tandoori for only two bucks at a market.

After trying about ten places, I finally found a massage therapist who I could commit to. After she worked on my left leg three times, I was finally able to walk without pain. But, this lady kept trying to do my back. I told her my back is fine. It is the leg that is a huge problem. I guess some masseuses are on auto-pilot and want to focus on backs. Well thank God my back is no problem because my legs have been bothering me for months.

Now, the legs are okay, but the calves are tight. So, we will be working on those for a while. I am walking three hours a day to get healthy so it is no wonder that my legs get up tight.

So, I am okay now — for now. Wish me luck.

The best money I ever invested is in…

Filed under: Advertising — admin @ 8:39 pm

The best money I ever invested.

When I was a kid, I bought a $1000 lawnmower that could mow 3x as fast as a regular mower. It was 36 inches wide. I had to have two long planks to get it in my pick up. I made tons of cash with that machine. My marketing skills that I use for 123notary were developed as a child hustling my lawn mowing business.

College is the biggest rip off. Five years of my life and very little to show for it. The Chinese I learned is mostly from myself and very little learned in a classroom. But, socially it was very involving.

My business 123notary was a good investment. It got me a high paying and interesting career that kept me busy for two decades.

Notary advertising if done correctly can get you tons of money. You might have to spend $1000 to get $12000 of business, but that is not bad.

When I first started advertising on Google adwords it was 5 cents per click. That got my business going well and it was cheap. It went up over several years to over a dollar per click for a high spot. I had to get strategic when that happened.

Giving to charity helped me get favors from God and the angels. Never underestimate the power of tything which is God’s commandment to us as humans. You produce, you make money, you share, you prosper even more.

But, surprisingly the best investment I ever made was today. I got Israeli style hummos and shawerma with spices I’ve never tasted before. It was a little bit Indian and a little moroccan, sweet, and juicy. I have never had food that good and only $10 during happy hour. Then to top it off, I got brioche at Whole Foods – only $6 but the best bread I’ve ever had.

So, don’t count your chicken shawerma’s before they hatch or get cut from the rotisserie and spend effort and money buying effective advertising. Let us be your coach because we give free tips on what to do.

Having a good notes section is a priority

Filed under: Your Notes Section — admin @ 11:44 pm

Smart Notaries on 123notary do a good job on their notes section and ask for help. Newer and less sophisticated Notaries write some lame material in their notes, don’t have our certification and don’t have reviews and then wonder why the phone doesn’t ring. Notary advertising by definition is very competitive, so you have to have an edge. As a beginner, believe it or not, with our free help, you can have a good edge and good presentation.

Here are some quick tips on notes and then some links to some amazing material.

1. The top 150 characters of your notes section shows up on the search results. Don’t put fluff up there. Many people restate their name — we already know what your name is because it says at the top of your listing. They restate that are a signing agent. They say that they are a “professional” signing agent. Anybody on our site can claim to be professional, but that just means that you get paid to do it, and doesn’t prove that you are any good. This is all a waste. Put info about your experience, or that you do last minute jobs, languages, or anything that makes you stand out in a good way.

2. Designations, degrees, coverage areas, or more generic or information that is less critical in proving how great you are as a Notary can go lower in your notes section.

3. Email us for help at info@123notary.com. We cannot write your notes for you, but we can rearrange it easily and for free. But, we can’t do it if you don’t ask. People who get a notes makeover typically get 55% more clicks right away and that translates into work.

4. The key thing to remember in notes is to be specific, unique and stress experience above all else. Using adjectives like reliable and professional are words anyone can use and these words don’t mean anything to the reader — they are considered fluff.

Signers who get paid big bucks on Snapdocs

Filed under: Advertising — admin @ 11:29 pm

I was reading a very long and detailed response to on of my blog articles about Snapdocs. It was written by a Snapdocs staff member (see it in the links section) explaining that our claims about Snapdocs might be distorted in certain ways and how they are a great portal. In any case, there are signers who get paid well on Snapdocs.

Some signers who use Snapdocs have lots of experience and in my opinion value. A handful of them receive texts for jobs paying low ball fees. The signers just write a counter offer for a higher fee and explain their experience and why they are worth it. Sometimes they get their fee. In real life you cannot always get your fee, but if you do a particular percentage of the time you can make good money and a good profit margin after expenses.

I was reading another comment from a Notary in a remote area who claims they get paid well by Snapdocs jobs simply because they are in a remote area where there are no other options — so the company has to pay the Notary’s asking fee. Interesting.

More links.
