Is this a karmic thing happening? is this the beginning of the end of Snapdocs? Does it mean their engineers are slipping? Or was it just a glitch? A moment in time when the universe was not perfect. Will SnapDocs lose its snappiness one day? Willl they lose their appeal? Or will they continue to dominate market share?

In any case, it is nice when Notaries email me to let me know what is going on in the world. My comment to the notary who emailed me this news was — the drama thickens!

MTV and pop culture
Remember back in the 80’s when people said, I want my MTV? Do they still exist? I spent a lot of time watching rock videos back in 1984. It was my introduction to popular culture because I was so out of it before that. But, what about the Notary world. If there were a slogan for our business, what would it be?

Does Google help Notaries? Yes, and in all types of ways.

Google helps to list Notary sites and Notary directories on the search results. However, your placement can really vary and in my opinion, placement doesn’t always make sense. For Notary, 123notary shows up poorly, but for state and city notary terms we show up normally in the first page or sometimes the second page. How odd.

Google also offers adwords pay per click which is another way you can get clicks, and with geo-targetting you can get local clicks which might be very valuable to you.

Google local offers a way that Notaries can get advertising and be found from local clients. Signing companies might not use that option so much but individuals seeking notarization will use Google local and some Notaries get a lot of business for general notary work.

Google can also help you find Notary information. If you want to look up technical terms, concepts, documents, signing companies, or any other Notary related information, they will help.

Gmail is the most popular email for Notaries and I use it myself.

Google maps are the best quality maps for strategizing your journey to a particular venue. You can even see what the building looks like that you are going to go to before you get there.

Google weather can help you know if it will be snowing when you get where you are going.

In short, Google is a valuable source of information for all of us and we would be hard pressed (like apple cider) if they didn’t exist.

The best money I ever invested.

When I was a kid, I bought a $1000 lawnmower that could mow 3x as fast as a regular mower. It was 36 inches wide. I had to have two long planks to get it in my pick up. I made tons of cash with that machine. My marketing skills that I use for 123notary were developed as a child hustling my lawn mowing business.

College is the biggest rip off. Five years of my life and very little to show for it. The Chinese I learned is mostly from myself and very little learned in a classroom. But, socially it was very involving.

My business 123notary was a good investment. It got me a high paying and interesting career that kept me busy for two decades.

Notary advertising if done correctly can get you tons of money. You might have to spend $1000 to get $12000 of business, but that is not bad.

When I first started advertising on Google adwords it was 5 cents per click. That got my business going well and it was cheap. It went up over several years to over a dollar per click for a high spot. I had to get strategic when that happened.

Giving to charity helped me get favors from God and the angels. Never underestimate the power of tything which is God’s commandment to us as humans. You produce, you make money, you share, you prosper even more.

But, surprisingly the best investment I ever made was today. I got Israeli style hummos and shawerma with spices I’ve never tasted before. It was a little bit Indian and a little moroccan, sweet, and juicy. I have never had food that good and only $10 during happy hour. Then to top it off, I got brioche at Whole Foods – only $6 but the best bread I’ve ever had.

So, don’t count your chicken shawerma’s before they hatch or get cut from the rotisserie and spend effort and money buying effective advertising. Let us be your coach because we give free tips on what to do.

I was reading a very long and detailed response to on of my blog articles about Snapdocs. It was written by a Snapdocs staff member (see it in the links section) explaining that our claims about Snapdocs might be distorted in certain ways and how they are a great portal. In any case, there are signers who get paid well on Snapdocs.

Some signers who use Snapdocs have lots of experience and in my opinion value. A handful of them receive texts for jobs paying low ball fees. The signers just write a counter offer for a higher fee and explain their experience and why they are worth it. Sometimes they get their fee. In real life you cannot always get your fee, but if you do a particular percentage of the time you can make good money and a good profit margin after expenses.

I was reading another comment from a Notary in a remote area who claims they get paid well by Snapdocs jobs simply because they are in a remote area where there are no other options — so the company has to pay the Notary’s asking fee. Interesting.
