Flossing vs. Reviews. Both are habits

Filed under: Reviews — admin @ 11:13 pm

When I talk to Notaries, I try to get them into good habits. If you floss every day, you will be less likely to get cavities in the long run. It takes 45 seconds per day every day. You cannot floss for twenty minutes once a month and hope to get the same result. Asking for reviews is also something you can do one minute a day every time your client says, “gee I love your work.” If you invest that one minute per day — or per opportunity, you can acquire lots of reviews over time and accumulate a lot more business which can change your life.

In any case, both flossing and reviews are habits, and they take roughly the same amount of time to do unless a 30 second gargling session follows your flossing in which case the flossing ritual might take slightly longer. However, there are differences between these two activities as well. You will not bleed much when asking for reviews, unless you are Woody Allen (he’s a bleeder.) Also, you will be less likely to end up having a lengthy conversation flossing unless you like to converse with the mirror about who is the fairest notary in the land, or, unless you have your BFF on speakerphone while you are flossing which I find just rude.

So, ask for reviews every day and you will get more business, feel better about your self, have a better rounded Notary profile, and best of all, have a good notary check up.
