Many people got into this profession for the same reason I did many moons back. They love driving, meeting new people, and putting things in FedEx boxes. Yes, there is something very therapeutic about those FedEx boxes — You gotta admit.
Others love the freedom. If you hate being cooped up in some annoying office with phones going off all the time, annoying secretaries, and stale air in those cubicles you are imprisoned in — you might love the open road.
Retired people don’t want to work full-time and like being able to choose their hours and choose their jobs – what did you say sonny?
And then there are the anal folks who like looking at everyone’s ID and wondering which person is a fraud and then thumbprinting them just to be safe. I think I am definitely that type although I love driving too. But, I don’t like driving in Beverly Hills because every other block you have to wait two minutes for the light to turn — how annoying.
And then there are those who love explaining loan documents. Some explain every single document in the package with a canned introduction.

I accidentally became a mobile notary when asked by a local attorney if I’d witness closing docs. Soon I learned traveling to different areas was rather fun, and of course, the monetary advantage was good. I also met new faces and often their families, too. Assisting signers became fun, but when all was done, I realized I assisted people reach their dreams and goals. Often friends wee made.
Yes, on top of all that I realized I assisted title companies, law firms and others achieve their business goals. Getting out of an office and on the road has been good.

Love the people, pets and children. Most are wonderful and our exchanges are uplifting. Once in a while, are difficult but only because of fear on someone’s part. My friend says she could not do this job and I tell her I could not do hers (she has yo stand and walk a lot).

I actually love it all the job, especially meeting people, getting to travel across country, somewhat choose my own hours. I love being a Notary. I thank the Lord all the time for my job.

I love notary work because of meeting new people, setting my own schedule, the revenue, meditation while driving and paperwork. Also, it gives me the chance to push back from the eating table and cleaning the same clean room six times per day.

Best decision I ever made, I run my business the way I see fit, serve tons of people in my community and make twice the amount I did in my old law firm! I love being a mobile notary and love all the great companies I service!

I love my job, I enjoy the flexibility, I enjoy meeting people of all professions, I enjoy being informative and given clients the pleasure of having a smooth transition into there new home which is the American dream on being able to own your own home! I enjoy seeing homeowners smile when they see the savings on a refinance. I enjoy seeing the smile when the receive the key to their mew home! It is satisfying when clients appreciate you and your work on doing a great closing after all the stress they went they to get to close! It is satisfying when a client complements me and appreciated diligent, informative work after a refi and having a notary close there original loan and give them no explanation of anything.

Completing a signing package is, for Me, like completing the NY Times crossword puzzle. And, oh yeah, being your own boss is pretty sweet, too.

Taking appropriate documents to families for execution is a privilege and honor. The kindness of each family has been a pleasure. Professionally, I enjoy the ride to and from the assignment; a time to reflect on the experience. I tell each family, they are my boss; each family has been a great boss.

I love what I do and I also love the people and pets (children also) that I meet. I sincerely tell them that I am glad I met them. My husband goes with me sometimes since I am in a rural area (Tennessee) we get to chat and I realized when I got in the vehicle and said “they were nice” that I said that 99% of the time. Good job and good money without having to advertise. 10 years and no real advertising. National Notary thank you!
