How is 123notary RON friendly?

Filed under: Advertising — admin @ 8:47 am

We have a handful of RON Notaries now. We encourage people to know how to mention this in their profile. Please learn these easy rules about how 123notary works.

Your NOTES section is where you write about yourself, and special skills. I am not sure if people come to 123notary for RON Notaries or not, but if they do, put it at the top of your notes section.

The top of your notes section shows up in the search results. So, if the first thing you mention is that you do remote online notarizations, people will find that.

Let me know if you get RON jobs from 123notary. You might more and more as time goes on.

Personally, I think RON needs a female counterpart SALLY. But, that is just a passing idea.

  1. It would be very helpful for title customers to be able to search for RON notaries. Can you add as a searchable field?

  2. I have trained for RON, and my state has approved it conditionally. I will not participate. I do not feel comfortable doing what we are paid to do
…verify IDs and be sure they are not signing under duress under the RON format.

  3. I will NEVER do Remote signings. After 10years of doing Loan Signings, I can tell myself that I have had the 10 best years and let some other Notaries participate in what will one day become wholesale Fraud.

  4. I am approved in PA at this point the state is allowing us to do them as long as we get approved.

  5. I think a lot of people do not understand how RONs work, and thus the “fraud” fears. In-person, I see the signer and physically look at their ID. Hopefully I can tell if the ID is fake or not, maybe yes, maybe no. On a RON, there are 4 ways we must verify the signer’s identity: (1) They must upload their ID onto the system so it can be forensically analyzed and verified – something I can’t do in person. (2) They must show me the ID on the video so I can see they have it in their possession and it matches what they got verified. (3) They must answer security questions which come from their personal credit and address history in the U.S., also something I can’t do in person because that is private information. (4) I must see them on video and communicate verbally with them, and the entire session is recorded and stored. I can see if they are under duress. And any questions I ask them, and they respond to, and any oaths I give, are recorded in this way as well. – I like Christine Pardo’s suggestion/request about making RON a searchable field on 123Notary.
