I have held a Notary Commission since 1982 and Have been involved in some way shape or form in the Real Estate sector since 1979 from application to closing table. I totally enjoy Notary Signing Agent work, but it is also a part of my business so must be profitable

  10. What? People I was doing signings for 75, 85, 90, 100, 110, 150, 200, and I got another company and I am doing 200 a couple one only for 135 but I did like 4 for 250 so I’m starting to like this ones for 250 so I decided I won’t do it anymore for less than 200 so mu lowest now is 200 because I have a lots of other work to do that pays me good so I don’t have to do any signing for less

  11. What is the difference between refi docs and purchase docs other than a Deed.
Is charging more for a VA package justified?

  12. I charge $175-$200 for a refi or purchase. $125-$150 for Seller. Idk why so many charge so little. Just ask for what you’re worth. You’ll be pleasantly surprised when you get it.

  13. I charge $100 for a refinance, $150 for a reverse, $75 for a seller package, and $60 for a loan modification. My minimum call out fee for one document is $50, which includes ($30) for notarization and ($20) travel fee. I also charge $60 per hour waiting fee for deposition oaths, jail signings, witness fees at hearings, court or trial. I am a Louisiana Civil Law notary with 32 years experience who travels within a twenty-five (25) mile radius of my office.

  14. I don’t feel like it is worth leaving the house for less than $100, $125 with scans. The farther from home the price goes up. I feel like if we all continue to keep the price at $100 or more we can begin to have a floor for pricing. It really doesn’t cost the title or signing company any more because it eventually falls to the signer to pay the fee. The difference of $25 or $50 is lost in the sea of charges.
