Used notary journals for sale on eBay

Filed under: Humorous Posts — admin @ 9:26 am

Just kidding. But, what a great joke. Can you imagine someone’s partially filled out journal on sale on eBay? What a security violation! How illegal! Fortunately for the privacy of the signers, most Notaries don’t bother with taking thumbprints, so their biometric information would probably not be violated if their journal entries go into the wrong hands.

  1. Many Notaries don’t know that in some states when you retire your commission (or move from that state) you have to surrender your Journal to county clerk’s office. In addition, you have to properly dispose of your stamp (destroy it so no one else can use it). Best thing we can do is know our local state Notary stuff inside and out to protect our commission AND to keep fraud at bay!
