Breaking news…fee increase for California Notary Publics

It has been a long time coming but fees have finally been increased to 15.00 per notarization, per person and other official acts performed by California Notary Public’s. Effective 1/1/2017. It has been in the works for years but finally has came to fruition. I have attached the Assembly bill for review.

  2. Ok Signing Agents in California, don’t miss this golden opportunity to get into the drivers seat of your career and RAISE YOUR FEES across the board!
I don’t work for signing agencies anymore in general, but I am curious to know if they will offer a higher fee after Jan. 1st ( I seriously doubt it) and how much they will offer. $5. $10. dollars an appointment? Please.

  3. I have the same concern. I’ve heard that title companies are still offering same fees as before. I can only surmise that we have to inform them of our raise and negotiate new fees.

The other option is to find more general notary work.
